“Belarus Village Outskirts” was inspired by my native land- Belarus. Majority of my ancestors and relatives live in this ancient village that is located on a high bank of the river Neman, always so amazingly lush with wildflowers. As a child and then teenager I loved explore the village outskirts by myself. Perhaps, that is the reason I am drawn to wildflowers in my art.
