A STORY BEHIND THE PAINTING:
What makes this process truly remarkable is that the painting was painted right here, on our enchanting land, a place we proudly refer to as the Dickson Kingdom, comprising ten acres of lush grasses, bountiful orchards, and captivating gardens.
The technique of painting en plein air (outdoors) invariably infuses an astonishing vitality derived from the surrounding nature and the chosen subject.
The crisp, fresh air, accompanied by the melodious chorus of birds and the playful interplay of sunlight and shadows, all left a profound impact on me, influencing my brush strokes and the selection of colors on my palette.
My distinctive painting style is characterized by loose and expressive brush strokes (and at times, the palette knife), varying in density, thereby bestowing a three-dimensional essence to the artwork. As the room's illumination shifts throughout the day, so does the play of light in the painting, breathing life into it.
