“I appreciate the unexpected in your paintings.  As an accountant my life has an orderly structure.  Your paintings help to release those confines.  They are like a deep breath of fresh air.  I love the rich colors you select and the crazy techniques you employ.  So very interesting.  Mostly I appreciate the way your art tells a story and invokes introspection.  I’m sure the story you are telling isn’t the story the pieces speak to me, but isn’t that what makes art so personal?  We each interpret according to our perception. “ - the buyer of this painting, MT

One night, after admiring the sunset on the Neman River by the village of Dokudovo, Belarus, I was going back to the house of my parents. It was November evening and the houses were quickly wrapping up in the darkness leaving intriguing silhouettes and lights. The villagers were returning to their homes to rest after yet another hard working day.
