Even though this garden is famous for its flower gardens, when visited I was intrigued by a wild side of the property, where the wildflowers joyfully hugged the banks of the canal. In my childhood, I loved to wonder along the banks of a small Belorussian village river Narva with such beautiful performance of wildflowers and insects.

In 2023 this painting was honored to be exhibited at the annual art contest “Art on the Island”.

Using dancing brush strokes, all of my paintings are done in an impressionistic way celebrating the sensation and feeling more that representing a portrait of a natural scene. I frequently use a pallet knife to add even more expressiveness.

If you respond to water’s tranquility and wildflowers as much as I do, then this landscape might be the one for your home.
