"Her Happy Place" Poppy Field by the Birches' Forest Oil Landscape Painting
"Her Happy Place" is an oil on canvas artwork that captures the ethereal beauty of a red poppy field landscape. The painting was inspired by one of my art class students, Marge, who vividly depicted her “happy place”: poppy field by a white birches’’ forest. And thus, the title of this painting was born: “ Her Happy Place”. I must admit, this is the second version of Marge’s vision. The first painting has been happily beautifying her home, brining peace and joy to Marge. I was so overwhelmed by the effect of that painting on Marge, that I was highly motivated to paint another version of it.
