"Back to My Home", an impressionistic oil landscape done in a Alla Prima style (one session painting), is one of the “ Back to My Home” series. This piece of art combines my memories of my ancestors’ ancient village Dokudovo on the Neman River’s bank in Belarus, here I was born, all my ancestors lived and live to this day and the local countryside landscapes of the West Michigan, particularly Holland-Zeeland area, and the Grand Ravines Park with the overview of the rushing waters of the Grand River.
