Oil on Canvas

This painting has been inspired by the owner of the local B&B, settling in the beautiful woods not far away from this park. He wanted me to paint this place in it's old beauty, prior the wooden stair cases were built. As he brought me there with nostalgic excitement, it struck me: 22 years ago not only I had visited this place, but, actually, I painted it! So, recreation of this park image without the stairs had been actually incredibly nostalgic to me as well and an amazing joy to paint. I was so inspired, that I literally could not stop and has created entire series of the Lake Michigan Parks.
