A STORY BEHIND THE PAINTING:
This unusual piece of art has been inspired by my neighbors’ pond surrounded with magnificent willows. The painting style was intentionally abstract, emotional, fluid, with brisk brush strokes. I did not want any precision. I wanted to translate overwhelming admiration I feel toward those willows embracing this small pond in their warm hug. Gentle evening breeze is moving the branches in the tact of Tchaikovsky “Swan Lake” music and reminds me ballerinas dance.
