“The Moment of Luminosity”, an oil on canvas painting, is a smaller version of another painting, “Her Majesty Light”. It is my practice to paint in series- this gives me an opportunity to study lots of variations of the same subject matter.
It is all about light, the effect that light has on us- the hope, the hopefulness, the joy, the place of safety.
